The Stunning Great Barrier Reef

So today we are talking about the Stunning great barrier Reef. It is Huge and there are so many different animals. It is truely a World Nature Heritage and the only words you can say about it are stunning, amazing and beautiful. So here are some facts about it:

The Great Barrier Reef is a 2300 Kilometer long part of the coast of Australia. It has over 2900 different coral riffs and is an Unesco World nature heritage since 1981 and either is one of the seven wonders of the world. The Riff is Located at the East Coast of Australia. The Climate Zone its in is the Tropical Zone. There is between 215mm and 525mm of rain coming down every month. The Most of it in Autumn, which is in February and March in Australia. The Great Barrier Reef is aproximately 600.000 Years old, but the Colored Parts of the Reef, which you see today, are „just“ 10.000 Years Old. And there are also 1500 different kinds of fish and 215 different Birds. But the Reef is in Great trouble, because of the climate change and the resulting raise of temp in the Water. Another Problem is the Raise of the Co2 Level in the Water, wich slows down the growing of the corals.

So it is very Beautiful and i would really like to go snorkeling there, but that is an expensive one! It costs over 200 Dollars per Person to snorkel for just 4 Hours, so you would get Poor if you want to go snorkeling with your whole family. But even if i werent there yet, i think that its worth it. There are thousands of fishes swimming next to you and furthermore some stunning and beautiful corals.
